When Obama’s Supreme Court selection turned out to be a woman who never even held a position on the legal bench and had more questions in her career than court cases, most were not surprised and new any resulting decision would be questionable not only when it came to ability and experience but also credibility for the job. Nonetheless, Elena Kagan was not what anyone really expected.

Even before being a line on Obama’s list, Kagan has been examined and have left many wondering if she even has the ability to be on the bench in the first place. With many actions literally threatening laws she is sworn to defend, it seems the magnifying glass placed on her career recently seems unneeded as not only does she have a thin list of legal writings, but also a pretty obvious controversial legal history. In fact, even her non-legal positions was seen to her as her own personal courtroom. In attempt to bar the military from using the office of Career Services, Kagan attempted to connect “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” and the right for military to be present on campuses during her term as Dean of Harvard Law School. While Obama’s colleague Senator John Kerry may have once stated that it is the undereducated who enlist, statistics show otherwise.

The United Nations is an organization built to bring countries together for the good of the world and to work with each other to improve the international quality of life.  It is a pinnacle of what this world can be, but only if used correctly.  Sadly however, it has also become a favorite soapbox for one of the most criminal leaders of our time. Recently, Iranian President Ahmadinejad claimed our nation, the same one who supports him financially as well as the organization he stands within, commits “Acts of Terror”.  Continuing to discuss nuclear weaponry, whose sole purpose he says “is to annihilate all human beings (and the possession if it) is disgusting and shameful”, these are very strange statements coming from a man whose purpose it seems is to create the same weapons he suddenly verbally spits on. It is no secret that, now with campaign season in full swing, time has run out when it comes to having any more liberal agenda items tear through our nation.  As this and the fact that Democrats have a losing chance at continuing to hold on the states after November, Pelosi’s reaction has been to create and reign in troops who will do what the Democrats don’t have time to do.

Recently, she approached the Catholic Church through a speech to Nation’s Catholic Community conference for assistance in increasing the push against Arizona’s new law and for amnesty.  Continuing to say reprieving illegal aliens for entering the country against our laws is a “Manifestation of our living the Gospels”, the manifestation she is looking for is that her and the Democrats have an easy November.  Attempting to pass the unconstitutional torch to a collection of people who will not lose their jobs come Election Day, Pelosi is attempting to have her religious counterparts and constituents to be her newest cronies for nothing other than the future of the party.  A catholic, Pelosi requested religious leaders to turn their followers’ heads against the right of Arizona and for the right of the illegal.

Whenever the issue of illegal immigration enters the mainstream media, this has and will continue to be a highly raised inquiry.  With the recent reactions to Arizona’s newest immigration law, this question has been raised yet again.  Not only is this legislation a response to a state’s own daily issues with the threat, Arizona’s government was also taking action for what is best for our country; nonetheless calls of racism and comparisons to the holocaust have been made in addition to this age old question: When it comes to employment, are there jobs Americans don’t want to do?

To some, the thought of this question brings visions of people tilling acres and acres of farms.  However, the jobs that are really being discussed through this are more mainstream and hence, not as risky or challenging.  There are different jobs which are being filled by illegal aliens that Americans, especially young citizens, would in fact sign on for.  From house painting to gardening, the issue of unemployment’s increase and its current effects on the nation, one has to wonder if this question really is an aspect of defending illegal immigration any more.

Obama’s litmus test has one thing on it: For the Good of the Party

Nobody needs a crystal ball to see we are in a time of incredible governmental challenge. The nation has, as a result of a hypnotized monopoly, been handed an inexperienced president and power-hungry majority who leads him. Until 2010 and then 2012, there are many errors they will make which we will have to pay for and afterward, clean up in hopes that few lives are affected until then. Once again, Obama has shown his amateur experience by inadvertently reacting to legislation with nothing in mind but his own power.

After the Arizona Bill SB 1070 was enacted into law, suddenly our president awoke and demanded the Supreme Court to examine the legality of what it contains. After Arizona asked for federal assistance after rancher Robert Krentz was killed in an area known for illegal human trafficking and was responded to with silence, our president is questioning their internal reactions to deal with the issue before another life is lost. It seems Obama believes defending a border state, and hence the country, against unknown unlawful inhabitants is unconstitutional.
