America continually witnesses the Obama administration and its cronies living in a bubble where they are the greatest leaders of this nation and not the ones that are continually selling its future like the stock market.  Recently, Obama advisor David Axelrod stated that America would be going “backwards” if they allowed the GOP to take the majority in 2010.  Once again, we see the backwards thinking of the Obama administration. From day one, the presidency has been against everyone who supported them, majorly the youth, via so-called reform as well as ignoring the real issues that need the commander in chief’s attention.

The top one that has lacked real attention: Jobs. Employment, especially regarding private sector jobs, has resulted in risking the former fan base that is the youth of the nation. The same people who once upon a time gave their dime and time to Obama hoping for “Change” from an unpopular president and war.  Now, with the same volunteers looking for their first jobs, unemployment stands at 9.5 percent.  The response?

With job adding predictions regarding his “Stimulus” activity ranging between a half-a-million to three-million jobs and themselves being consistently questioned and dissected, positive aftermaths for employment have been few and far between.  This, of course, has resulted in a lack of response when it was recently announced that a third is on the way.  Further, while the nation waits for the possibility of more “Stimulus” to hit the legislative floor, not only are college graduates majorly feeling hit by the recent situation but so are the high school students currently reaching out for summer gigs.  In May, 6,000 jobs were created among 16-to-19 year olds, the smallest increase in more than 40 years.

At the same time Axelrod made his statement, Obama attempted to change his now administration’s slogan from “Yes We Can” to “Yes We Did.”  Today many members of society such as the youth are asking “Did what?”

The Congressional Budget Office projects cumulative national debt to increase in the next decade by $9.8 trillion. This “generational theft” will soon create lower standards of living for Americans in the future and, as an obvious result, a reduction on the youth’s available opportunities.

Staying on the aspect of future, not too recently the Labor Department attempted to revoke unpaid internships from Craiglists and classifieds because of possible subversion of federal rules.  Not only is the administration allowing the constriction and reduction of paid employment, but they are also risking the unpaid employment that allows youth to gain experience while waiting for jobs.  Hence the question of “Did what?” is continually cried out in response to the newly altered campaign slogan.

With the future fading more and more, covering like a California fog over the hopes of our nation’s youth, the picture is bleakest for African-American teens, for which June unemployment stood at 46 percent and real changes do not seem to be possible at least for the near future.  As said before, all ages from 19 and beyond are being affected at the worst time during these summer months.  The result of this?  Despite what many political pundits may be hinting at, these are the people who will not forget in November and will work to burst the bubble that our current leadership resides.

Although America has already shown a historic height of dissatisfaction regarding our current President, the most alarming rejection is recently coming from a very surprising sector of politics: members of his own party.  In a recent White House meeting, the nation’s democrat governors grumbled against the recent legal attack on Arizona for their newest immigration enforcement law S.B. 1070. Discussing it Democratic Governor Phil Bredesen said, “Universally the governors are saying, ‘We’ve got to talk about jobs,’ and all of a sudden we have immigration going on.” 

While the statement may bring a sigh of relief to some who are happy to see that at least our state leaders know what really needs attention, deeper within their rejection of the lawsuit, you see nothing but the dangerous hunger of the liberals. Despite this lawsuit being an example of a nation attacking itself from within in an already challenging time, it wasn’t the action that the governors are snubbing but the timing of the action so close to November of 2010. 

It is not problematic that the lawsuit involved an already approved federal law which a state government saw being unused and decided to activate it for their and the nation’s safety, but the timing of its announcement and proceedings is dangerous. Already the words “Democrat” and “incumbent” are dire terms when it comes to the pending November Elections.  It seems now, at least to the democrats, the phrase “immigration lawsuit” may be joining the anti-electoral mix for their reasons however and not the right ones. 

Despite the aggression being felt from within their party, the fight against Arizona not only continues on but may be increased.  At the same time of the meeting, Attorney General Eric Holder stated during an interview that yet another lawsuit is in the process. It was further said that the additional legal action will be regarding prospective racial profiling that may occur by following the law.  This is despite the law actually dictating against racial profiling and, as said before, saying nothing more than what a disregarded federal law had already established.

It is not the timing of the lawsuit Democrats up for re-election should worry about but the lawsuit itself as well as the related attacks from speeches against Arizona to prospective additional lawsuits.  A recent Quinnipiac University poll stated 51 percent support SB-1070, 45 percent believe it is a step to reduce illegal immigration and 76 percent oppose any and all boycotts against Arizona.  Hence, it is the lawsuit that is the error, not the timing. 

Why are they not against the lawsuit as a whole? Because they see the polls and the people who are outside of their office doors ready to vote against them in November. It is not just Obama which will be rewarded by amnesty but all Democrats.  Hence, once again the Democratic Party has shown us once again they have no problem being against us as long as at means the possibility of re-election.   Whether it’s the fact that the nation is literally attacking one of its own or the timing of the announcement and proceedings, the only real action we are seeing is a continuation of a frivolous lawsuit from people who claim to be the party of the Americans.  While they may scream that they know what we need in the end, actions speak louder than words and their current activity screams one word and one word only: AMNESTY.

In an attempt to show face regarding the illegal immigration issue, the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency recently began discussing an avenue which they believe shows that they know how to cure the infectious problem.  “Silent Raids”, announced as an immense step in immigration reform, is an activity where Federal Enforcement Agents quietly audit employee records of companies for possible illegal immigrants on their payroll.

            There are many life-sized holes in this objective. The first one is one that stretches an already increasing gap in our nation.  As Republican Senator Jeff Sessions said recently about the possible cure, “Even if discovered, illegal aliens are allowed to seek employment elsewhere.” Only one factor of the lawbreakers regarding this is affected by the action and the real criminals we should be concerned about are walking free.  ICE may not realize it but there are businesses even they haven’t seen not to mention the reality that most illegal workers do not work within paperwork standards but through Cash and other ways of payment. 

            Staying on the aspect of employees, a New York Times article discussing the supposed step toward immigration reform stated that one of the culprits who have been caught employing illegal aliens is applying for a federal guest worker program to import 1,200 short-term workers from countries such as Mexico. In 2006, the NPR reported nearly half of illegal immigrants overstayed their t visas. Hence, the aftermath of this “tough enforcement” is doing nothing more than adding salt to an already infected wound.

            Senator Sessions continued his statement raising yet another gap in this perspective.  Jobs which are already scarce are now being threatened by illegal aliens even further as they attempt to find other avenues of work.  At a time where General Managers of supermarkets have Doctorate Degrees, now we are going to threaten the small but surviving available jobs.  And with the scarcity, the minimum wage availability will plummet with the availability of such cheap labor that, as shown by ICE’s recent actions, can do no wrong.

         Finally, when these “silent” searches occur, the result is that the employer is notified of the discovery and told to remove the aliens immediately. This step not only is flawed considering no real demand is made to the companies once an illegal alien is found on their staff books, but no legal replacement is offered to the businessman. True, many companies see costs but the reality is not all of them can be watched.  

             This is not to say punishment shouldn’t be given to the businesses that employee illegal aliens but considering that the latter actually have the word illegal in their name, some brunt of the force should be felt on their side as well.  Nonetheless, once again the real criminal walks away while the American business is threatened with no replacement and full retribution.

            While ICE Chief John Morton calls this the start of “a culture of compliance” for employers, the real criminals walk free.  This just once again shows what the Administration and his followers really want out of these “work-site roundups”.   In a speech discussing this avenue, President Obama stated the program was to start a path for “a legislative overhaul to give legal status to millions of illegal immigrants”.  Amnesty is the only word in this man’s dictionary when it comes to immigration and it seems now he is no longer shying from saying it out loud.    Although Border Management Strategies President Mark Reed and others may describe this search as one that allows “No trauma, no drama, no families being torn apart,” the nation’s structure may be a different story.

Just hours ago it was announced that Tony West, a member of a group of lawyers who have represented terror suspects and are coined as “The Gitmo 9”, will be leading the Obama Administration in their suit against Arizona.  Arguing against the state taking a federal law that the national law enforcement were not using and making it a state requirement, every day this lawsuit shows more and more its conflicting objective: from being released first on international press to attacking a law that had been on the federal books for years. 

            West, who once represented “American Taliban” John Walker Lindh, later negotiating a 20 year sentence for the 21-year-old terrorist, to me screamed once again whose side our administration is on.  To take a man who has pre-existing involvement with one of the types of people Arizona is fighting to battle against shows the current leadership literally has no feeling or remorse for threatening our nation by attempting to nullify the needed strengthening of our borders.  With West’s help, the “American Taliban” did not face the Government’s most serious charges, including conspiracy to kill Americans and engaging in terrorism.

            Is this the type of person we want telling us how our borders should be?

            The Justice Department, lead by Attorney General Eric Holder, who was already quoted stating he created an opinion on the law before reading it, was already known for their political agenda even before S.B. 1070’s ink was dry.  If anything, this “selection” shows the pure audacity and frivolousness this lawsuit carries.  Someone who will actually attempt to reduce the charges of a terrorist obviously should not be involved in a factor of how some have gotten to us such as the borders.  Nonetheless, here is the blind leading the blind within an empty and costly case while the Americans continue to be at risk.

                When examining the documentation of the lawsuit, you see it states the Justice Department claims the federal government has “preeminent authority” on immigration enforcement and that the Arizona law “disrupts” that balance. What balance are they referring to?  We have already seen from numerous statistics that there is an incredible imbalance in our borders and the state was reacting to this with the enactment of S.B. 1070.  Further, if the “preeminent authority” that the Justice Department supposedly has on the nation’s border security was worth anything Arizona wouldn’t have had to adopt any laws nor be risked or killed by people crossing the borders illegally. 

          Once again we are seeing an administration’s attempt to control our nation for the good of themselves and not for the good of the people.  Once our President realized the real Americans are ready to respond in droves against him in 2010 and 2012, he fought to keep the dream of amnesty alive. America to Obama: Not on our watch.

  If you are a political analyst like my colleagues and myself you knew firsthand what Obama was going to do to the nation even before Election Day approached. However, even the most right wing pundit was surprised when it began to come out that during his White House term, Obama wasn’t just controlling corporations but also elections.             The future of the party and of his power, instead of the nation and its needs, are top of the list for Obama and it seems he doesn’t mind showing it.  However, despite his obvious involvement in the recent revelations regarding controlling the electoral system, Obama seemed to always have a fall guy who really did the acting against our electorate.  From administration members to former Presidents, it seemed the President had electoral Teflon.  In a fact, with comments such as, “nothing inappropriate occurred” despite story-backing emails, many have seen the events fading into the midst and leaving no retribution behind for the White House or the administration. 

           Recently however, he seems to have lost his cover when it comes to recent news regarding the selection of his senatorial successor.  In a recent hearing about the former Gov. Rod Blagojevich’s corruption charges, an Obama emissary stated that on the eve of his Presidential Election the President said he would rather have Valerie Garret beside him in Washington than running for his seat in the Senate. 

           An experientially qualified candidate, Garrett would have made a pretty good contender. However, as we have already seen from previous electoral control actions sure things are the only ones who have a right to run in Obama’s eyes.  The New York Times reported Obama told him he had two criteria for his successor in the Senate: be good for Illinois and be able to get elected.  Before we even were forced to experience his need to control aspects that he should leave alone (corporations, healthcare and our right to have every candidate on the ballot), Obama showed his ability to without worry, restrict the nation as long as it was good for his party’s future.

           Although the charges do involve the former Governor’s “war gaming” regarding the Senatorial seat left by Obama, the testimony and other aspects raise that the former Senator may have kept a hold on his legislative opening even as he began his move for Washington.  Also, while the White House issued a statement declaring that no contact was made between the charged former Governor’s office and Obama, that comment within it carries holes. How could a former legislator now President not be in contact with the leader of his former state?  To blanket the aspect that quickly, declaring no contact had not been made ever, raises flags that something fishy must have happened.

           Nonetheless, Valerie Jarrett, who was politically and experientially qualified for the job, was without warning pushed away from any Senatorial hopes for the good of Obama. Forgoing not only nation’s rights but also Jarrett’s rights, we are seeing now firsthand how much in a self righteous bubble our President is in.  We can only hope that this situation sticks better than the previous ones have stuck to their involved parties, at least till 2012.

BP is deserving of no apology; the real apology, should be to the American people. What is the real “shakedown” are the actions taken by the Obama Administration in order to milk whatever they can get from the BP spill aftermath. While they are happily having speeches cloaked in actions toward BP when in reality are a push for pending legislation, the actions that they are supposedly forcing against BP is already occurring. The same amount of money, $20 billion, is already pre-arranged as a start for BP to pay for the effects of the tragedy to an “independent” party. Further, they have especially recently accepted liability which will result in many costly civil cases.

Before the fund, $100 Billion has already been paid to workers that were unemployed by the ban on offshore drilling which by the way, Obama placed on our nation in a time of already consistent recession and overseas oil reliance. While liberal political strategist James Carville may have called the action “A little old-school Chicago politics,” this is running a country and not a mafia. When really examining the resulting fund, it is being ignored that not a penny of it has anything to do with environmental objectives such as cleaning the oil or the animals covered in the black liquid. It is common knowledge getting the oil out of the water was the only way any fisherman could return to work and the wildlife and other factors resulting in the spill can begin to clear up. While seafood companies and fishermen are going bankrupt,

Obama “negotiates” a fund which isn’t even targeting to cleaning up the mess that was left. We also have to examine the structure of the fund. The deal made is that $3 billion will be paid in the third quarter of this year, $2 billion in the forth and $1.25 billion after while the Government has a lien on $10 billion of BP’s assets. Hence the capitol will be first in line if the company claims bankruptcy. In a sense, BP was sent a life raft cloaked by a “fund” which makes Obama look good to the public while southern states still drown in black gold. Don’t get me wrong, I am not a BP fan. This horrific event has been a lesson to them immensely, and we are finding day after day more errors, misrepresentations, and I see if done correctly this will not happen again. However, it is not something that should be used in any way other than a lesson to them and the Government, not an avenue of pitching legislation and showing a stronghold on companies. Almost immediately, Vice President Biden attacked Barton for his statements and while a retort is necessary, politicians in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. He is the second in command of an administration who has ignored the need for available overseas assistance when we are a nation that always assists internationally as well as one that waited for the crisis to go away for days before really fully responding and once it occurred, pointed fingers the same way everyone else already was via the legislative halls. America to Biden: Where’s our apology?

  After starting to settle into the idea that the issue regarding their offer to Democratic Candidate Joe Sestak was starting to see the road to the archives and out of the current events sections of newspapers and news programs, The White House awoke to another hit. Current Colorado Democratic Candidate Andrew Romanoff, it has been reported was also offered a position in exchange for dropping out of the current race.

While this is a disruptive situation for any administration, it is realized that this one in particular is being hit harder. During his campaign President Obama verbally prided himself as evading from Washington tricks and what some people believe is “Politics as usual”. In fact, many followers defined his slogan “Change” with statements such as a different government for the people not foreboding the people. However, as we are seeing from recent events that definition may have held less water than previously considered.



When Foxnews broke the story, correspondent and host Neil Cavuto asked “Here we go again?” after announcing the revelation. This within itself reflects the mindset both of the White House and of the public. Despite the rise of Tea Parties there are still many people who are consistently holding by a thread the belief that Obama will lead them well but as current events show, leadership may be the least of their worries. Already, they are attempting to cover up offer number two confirming that Romanoff “applied for a job” apparently believing that was what created the supposed mix up.

The reality is once again a play on words via the current Administration. While we already see “upheaval” meaning “takeover” and “reform” meaning “new taxes”, it seems to the Obama administration “job offer” and “job suggestion” is completely different. In September of 2009, after announcing his candidacy Romanoff received a phone call from White House deputy Chief of Staff Jeff Messina who stated no White House support would be available to him but “suggested” three available positions in the same organization he applied for. Although Messina instilled the lack of White House support as well as the declaration that no position would be definite, his followup email detailing each position cried a bit of a different position.

While White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs confirmed some forms of communication after Romanoff announced his candidacy, the content was not discussed. It has been confirmed that Messina reached out to him to see whether the position Romanoff previously applied for would still be of interest to the Republican candidate. Messina then emailed him three available positions for the same organization Romanoff applied for.

Once again, the nation is shown the true colors of the Obama Administration. With Romanoff’s statement and evidence, it is clear once again that the Administration offered positions to the candidate in exchange for removing himself from the race. No matter what the definition may be to them, it is pretty clear to the people. Further, with less than one thousand days of his candidacy, this shows fear was strong even before primary season that his collegeues’ power was in peril. Maybe he and his politics will be over after all.

When it was announced that our current president will be going to his hometown to celebrate Memorial Day the response was almost laughable: At least Biden will be there.

Once again, we see in Obama a lack of realization that this is not a job but a calling that carries an immense requirement of dedication and sacrifice. Every leader who sent patriotic mass e-mails on this holiday reflected one statement: It is not about the parties you have in your backyard but the reflection you carry for the soldiers who serve this country. President Obama himself has continually attempted to state such a phrase. However, while actions speak louder than words, his recent one screams against any pro-military statement he ever uttered.

Instead of following in many of his predecessors’ traditional footsteps as president and change the wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, he took his family to a party out of state and left our vice president to do the duty. Forgetting the challenging times we live in, standing in a war and attempting to climb out of a continuing recession, Obama did what Obama wanted to do. As soon as any reaction to this had a chance to make real waves, it was quickly covered up by much of the media with video of Biden standing at the cemetery and discussions about the Chicago rainstorm that washed out some of the president’s plans. No matter how you cut it, President Obama openly retorted to the independent time we are currently in with the same ignorance he shows the nation during regular days by deciding to do what he wants instead of what is required of him. Through this action, he has inadvertently spit in the face of every American fighter.

Despite any argument, in this day and age there is no way any other president could have done this and gotten away without even a slap on the wrist. For example: What if President Bush and Laura instead of spending their Memorial Day in Washington paying their respects to the fallen decided to take Air Force One to Texas for Jeb’s party? “Bush BBQ’s while Soldiers Sacrifice” sounds like a pretty good title you would see. In fact, it seems that the media pats the current president on the back averting our attention by showing Biden doing the duty of our “leader” and other related stories.

Nonetheless the real risk is the message this gives to our men and women who cannot go to their hometowns or will never see their hometowns again when they see their own leader cannot even sacrifice a home barbeque to show respect to our soldiers is disastrous. We must also realize the tomb carries soldiers whose families still don’t know they are home yet. The use of Vice President Biden as a replacement shows the uncaring nature of this current leader and how much he sees this position as nothing more than a burdensome job which he can leave at any moment for trips, barbeques and family outings instead of a political calling that requires everything in him.

A recent USA Today article discussed how there is a great disconnect between American families and military families on the holiday which should result in immense thankfulness to our nation’s soldiers.  As it summarizes the issue with Paul Rieckhoff of the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America stating “The average American family…goes to a barbecue (and) the average military family goes to a cemetery,” our current President’s recent actions did not help this issue.

Instead of standing by a time and leadership honored tradition, President Obama retorted with the same ignorance he shows the nation during regular days and decided to do what he wants instead of what is required of him. During the holiday weekend, he returned to his home state for Memorial Day leaving Vice President Joe Biden to take on the objective of changing the wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.  Through this action he has inadvertently spit in the face of every American fighter. 

There are very few objectives we have left to commemorate what our nation’s combatants do for us over the lifetime of our nation.  In fact, the USA Today article continues to state many believe this holiday has become an unofficial start to the summer season instead of a day for reflection, thanks and humility.  The President changing the wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is a common sense practice of our nation as well as an American institution. In a time not only of war but of such challenges as today, a reflection towards the men and women who continually serve this country in our time of need is something that is needed to not only keep the humanity of this country but also to assure every citizen here and overseas that we are America first and always.

The actions of our current “leader” show the nation has a president who plays by his own rules.  Nonetheless, the media response to Obama’s change in holiday plans has within itself shown how much this President can do no wrong in their eyes. Discussing the Vice President doing the ceremony while a pool of reporters followed the President, they used this and the nasty weather as a block to show the real story: American honored practices of the Presidency mean as much to him as freedom means to terrorists.
Hence, it can be seen that it is not only the President playing by these new rules but also the media.  What do you suppose would have happened if President Bush and Laura instead of spending their Memorial Day in Washington paying their respects to the fallen decided to take Air Force One to Texas for Jeb’s party?  “Bush BBQ’s while Soldiers Sacrifice” sound like a pretty good title you would see?

At a time where such time honored actions such as this are hungered for, he even as a President has no right to deface this factor of our nation. What statement does it say to our men and women who cannot go to their hometowns or will never see their hometowns again when our own President cannot even sacrifice a home barbeque to show respect to our soldiers?  We must also realize the tomb carries soldiers whose families still don’t know they are home yet.  Vice President Biden’s appearance shows the uncaring nature of this current leader and how much he sees this position as nothing more than a burdensome job which he can leave at any moment for trips, barbeques and family outings instead of a political calling that requires everything in him.

It is true that we are not just now learning we don’t have a leader as a president.   Taking trips without any legislative results and having celebrities in restricted areas, we knew from the beginning we weren’t being taken seriously by our own Commander in Chief. However, even the most Anti-Obama citizen must have been surprised when that uncaring nature bled into such a dedicated collection of people that is our soldiers.

It is a scary day in any nation when you fear your own legislative majority and it seems America is starting to feel that twitch. Action after action, the future of this nation is threatened by way of the people hired to protect us through legislation. Thankfully, we have a minority party that doesn’t act weak nor hide from the fight for our needs.  Realizing that ObamaCare was going to pass despite its high risk against the nation, they created and pushed amendments to bandage as many of the damaging parts as they could so the negative effects would be as small as possible.  You know, they actually served their constituents.
