Throughout many articles, America continually sees that the Obama administration and his cronies live in a bubble where they are the greatest leaders of this nation and not the ones that are continually selling its future like the stock market. Recently, Senior Obama Advisor David Axelrod stated that America would be going “backwards” if they allowed the GOP to take the majority in 2010. Once again, we see the backwards thinking of the Obama Administration. From day one, the Presidency has been against everyone who supported them, majorly the youth, via so-called reform as well as ignoring the real issues that need the Commander in Chief’s attention. The top one that has lacked real attention: Jobs. Employment, especially regarding private sector jobs, has resulted in risking the former fan base that is the youth of the nation. The same people who once upon a time gave their dime and time to Obama hoping for “Change” from an unpopular president and war. Now, with the same volunteers looking for their first jobs, unemployment stands at 9.5 percent. The response? With job adding predictions regarding his “Stimulus” activity ranging between a half-a-million to three-million jobs and themselves being consistently questioned and dissected, positive aftermaths for employment have been few and far between. This, of course, has resulted in a lack of response when it was recently announced that a third is on the way. Further, while the nation waits for the possibility of more “Stimulus” to hit the legislative floor, not only are college graduates majorly feeling hit by the recent situation but also the high school students who are currently reaching out for summer gigs. In May, 6,000 jobs were created among 16-to-19 year olds, the smallest increase in more than 40 years. At the same time Axelrod made his statement, Obama has attempted to change his now administration’s slogan from “Yes We Can” to “Yes We Did”. Today many members of society such has the youth are asking “Did what?” The Congressional Budget Office projects cumulative national debt to increase in the next decade by $9.8 trillion. This “generational theft” will soon create lower standards of living for Americans in the future and, as an obvious result, a reduction on the youth’s available opportunities. Staying on the aspect of future, not too recently the Labor Department attempted to revoke unpaid internships from the Craigslists and classifieds of the world because of possible subversion of federal rules. Not only is the administration allowing the constriction and reduction of paid employment, but unpaid employment which assists the youth in gaining experience while they wait for jobs to come is also risked by the administration. Hence the question of “Did what?” continually is cried out back to the new attempted alteration of the campaign slogan. With the future fading more and more, covering like a California fog over the hopes of our nation’s youth; Not only being unaffected by the “Stimulus” but still waiting for the “Change” while they watch a great deal more than hope fade by the day. Lack of impact of the assistance package and other Obama-lead actions, it seems the picture is bleakest for African-American teens, for which June unemployment stood at 46 percent and real changes do not seem to be possible at least for the near future. Further, all ages from 19 and beyond are more impacted with the situation when it comes to the timing it has occurred: summer months for teens and college graduation day. The result of this? Despite what many political pundits may be hinting at, these are the people who will not forget in November and will work to burst the bubble that our current leadership resides. Many recent ObamaCare articles have been headed by one statement: “Now they tell us.” Recent news has shown that organizations and reports are somehow finally announcing that ObamaCare will cost more money than planned and will not be reform after all. Despite these facts not really making an entry into mainstream news, the cost of ObamaCare has been known and reported by many. From organizations to regular people blogs, articles, letters and phone calls screamed what is now finally common knowledge. Hence, the only problem with this “announcement” is that it was already known; it just wasn’t admitted by the much of the mainstream news. Nonetheless, the real people who should come clean regarding this legislation are the democrat lawmakers who pushed for its approval. Despite now everyone uncovering the current and pending damage of ObamaCare, they still haven’t admitted it as these announcements are coming from bipartisan organizations and not liberal legislators. Read more To avert our attention from the damage ObamaCare is doing to America day after day, President Obama lifted a moratorium to allow oil drilling off the Eastern seaboard and potentially the western coast of Florida. Thinking he once again did something for America they way he did when he signed ObamaCare, hence many futures away, Obama has gone as far as to adopt the Republican chant “Drill baby drill!”. Lately, there has been a feeling that he is “playing” President instead of being president, thinking his actions don’t really affect people. When it comes to this “Drill baby drill” action, he must see the consequences. Not only would it result in jamming the court houses further, and giving liberal environmental groups more to cry about but it pretty much does nothing in the way of immediacy to get America off foreign oil. First, nothing if anything happens, it cannot even have a chance till 2012. Second, it’s an allowance to look for places to drill. Finally, not only is this pretty much putting his name on a 2008 action by Congress, but once again limits areas such as Alaska. Many people say Alaska is off limits for environmental reasons. However, the reality is studies show the heat result in animal reproduction (funny but true). Of course, Obama supporters immediately call this a “Jobs Bill” since he, after ObamaCare first crashed and burned after its first deadline to sign, promised to focus on that. One problem with that: The EPA along with our POTUS around the same time installed a rule establishing emissions and fuel economy standards for the U.S. auto fleet. With a cost of up to $1,300 per vehicle, it is as House Majority Leader Boehner calls “a job killer.” Score another one for Obama? Obama attempts to excuse this and other related objectives, stating that it will allow “home grown” opportunities to evade us from international oil sources with renewable sources. The issue with that is most technologies are very much way off in being finished; not to mention the time it takes to be integrated into society. Nonetheless, America is an oil and gas country and probably will be even if these “homegrown” opportunities are out there. Hence the gas prices will still be an issue, which leaves us back at step one. Therefore, if the President really wants the phrase “Drill baby drill”, Well Mr. President: Put your money where your mouth is. The signing of their own lipstick clad pig, ObamaCare, Democrats seem to either be deaf or chose to be deaf to America screaming to repeal every piece of the legislation before it affects another life. While well established doctors resign their medical posts and Americans begin the literally exit the nation, it seems like there is nothing loud enough to wake up the Democrats from the horrid error that is ObamaCare. While citizens scream in anger and Republicans work to save the American from the Anti-Consitutional “healthcare reform”, Democrats still seem to think they are connected to America's needs. In fact, beside a speech by President Obama at the same location he announced the healthcare initiatives, Democrats are even prepping for a national media campaign entitiled “You Fight, We Fight.” However, the selection on what they chose to fight regarding begs to differ from what the American people need. In fact, when faced with a “fix” headed by Republicans approved by the legislature, the White House responded that it will be signed “sometime this week”. Yet when ObamaCare is approved, signing happened immediately and was called a “big F--ing deal.” Wait until they see what a “deal” November is. The only problem with this media response is you shouldn’t really discuss fighting with someone who is fighting against you. Since this legislation was suggested, Americans have been against this in droves. How can you lead a nation that was created under the objective of freedom for all and tell them what insurance to pay, not to mention tax them if they don’t? In fact, reports say people who helped write and send the bill to its signing are realizing the items may affect them the way they are already affecting America. Now, they are calling for changes made to it or (what should happen) total repealing of the law. To many, even repealing the bill is not enough. Some declare that the President should be stripped of his title. However, the reality is in order to assure this will not happen again everyone should go down the ship that is ObamaCare. Political common sense was evaded, not to mention the Constitution. What’s worse is that the people who helped to place this in our hands, (I.E. Cabinet members, Legislative aids and (gasp!) President Obama will NOT be affected by the new rules. This is horrible! Why aren’t heads rolling? Members of the media discussed the backroom deals as if they were proud of this President. Despite already knowing the media is the closest thing to the Obama Fan Club to the Democratic Majority, it was still surprising. This in a sense, has saved the President. While putting the horrible details into their archives, they discuss the next objective of the president as if to try to avert ideas. There is only one problem with that. We, as Americans, have shown not only do we never forget but we respond with force. This will not be a lesson America has to learn twice. It is almost laughable if it wasn’t so tragic. A piece of legislation which has been described as a “health care overhaul” was placed on our books without our permission by a collection of people who were sent to our nation’s capitol to do what we as a nation need. Instead, they do whatever they can to shove bills we do not need but what they think we require down our throats. Seeing how many people were against this legislation, the best option in some common sense minds’ is to start over. In fact, that’s what many believe was what was going to happen when he announced a bipartisan summit for healthcare. However, with putting his legislation on the internet before the pow-wow, many realized the event was no more than an attempt for defeating ObamaCare’s opponents. So many times I have stated how much of a bad President Obama is and to tell you the truth, it is not his fault. He literally had months of legislative experience and has now been placed in the highest position in the world. Despite this, we as Americans (and especially the mainstream media) give Obama chance after chance to prove himself a President. Even when ObamaCare was suggested, we believed that if we showed him consistently through phone calls and public announcements he would back down and, as Minority Leader John Boehner stated, start with a “blank sheet of paper”. Healthcare needs an overhaul, but not at the risk of so many entities which will be hit by ObamaCare. Yet not only did he continue with this unconstitutional and dangerous legislation, but he even went as far as to use backdoor deals and dictatorial factors such as Executive Orders to get it through the Capitol Hill Doors. Probably realizing in a way his error, Obama stated in his speech after the vote that the bill came from the bottom up and not the top down. Does he really think we are that naïve as to not know where this dangerous bill came from? It’s called ObamaCare for a reason, sir. The biggest aspect many cannot believe is that we as a nation told him we did not want this bill on our books. Members of the government will not personally be affected by this bill. If anything, many have already profited by it through avenues such as personal phone calls, jobs and rides on Air Force One. What about the people who gave you the chance to be where you are? Bottom line: ObamaCare is not what we need to assist our nation, let alone our healthcare system. It is legislation that is as backwards as the deals that were done to get it where it is now. How can you assist our healthcare system by raising taxes? How can you protect freedom when you create a piece of legislation which tells people what healthcare system to use? We do not need new taxes, new IRS agents and finally we do not need to be told what healthcare plan we should be on. Obviously, there are people in the capitol who have forgotten what their jobs are. They have become as flawed as the bill they just sent to our law books. In November, I see more of an overhaul than they ever thought this so-called “Healthcare Reform Bill” could have ever done. The healthcare reform proposal President Obama has made his priority carries no constituent support at all. Despite the obvious reaction to returning to the drawing board, (an act some people believed was what he was doing when he scheduled a bipartisan summit) Obama’s administration and members of his majority party has decided to shove it down the nation’s throats. With the help of Obama going as far as to postpone a trip to help pushing it to pass, is there any other reason this man is a one term President? With a prospective and supposedly “historic” passing of something Americans and many legislators have declared a fiscal time bomb (the best estimates are a cost of over $2.5 trillion), President Obama is literally refusing to listen to his real bosses: The American people. Further, there is literally nothing off limits when it comes to passing this through the system and on the law books. From selling judicial seats to now using reconciliation, this “we know best” administration is resorting to trickery and bribery for a political objective that will cost the nation they were charged to lead and assist more than they have as well as threaten more futures than they could ever think of helping. Already they have come to the greatest of extents to approve something that will follow Obama and his cronies for the rest of their political career like a dark shadow. Nonetheless, Obama’s legislative sidekick, Speaker Nancy Pelosi says the collection of lacking legislators will work “as long as it takes” to pass this. Enough is enough, they have gone too far. More and more, this administration is looking like the same dictatorship our forefathers warned us about. It threatens not only the fiscal health of the country but gives yet another pass to the illegal alien. Although these trespassers will be covered by this plan, they will not carry the financial burden of its cost as they do not pay the taxes which will be increased. Already, they have been receiving health assistance on the American’s dime. Only now, we are going to pay more for their health coverage and still receive no financial payback until they register legally. Already illegal aliens have been receiving healthcare on the American tax dollar. Judicial Watch reported in 2007 “Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, San Diego and Indiana are among the cities where Mexican consulates operate the health referral system which annually costs U.S. taxpayers billions of dollars.” Wait a minute, wasn’t this the President who wanted to support immigration? In fact, then candidate Obama addressed the 2008 National La Raza Conference promising he would pass so-called “Comprehensive Immigration Reform.” Yet he is rewarding the illegal aliens with an incentive of more free healthcare if they cross our borders. You tell me: Why would one immigrate legally when he receives even more (not to mention free) healthcare assistance for coming illegaly? However, this shouldn’t be to surprising to us. In February he expanded the life of the State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP), loosening eligibility requirements for legal immigrants and their children and easing the requirements needed to use fake Social Security cards to apply for benefits. Not to mention obviously making it harder for them to be caught. Michelle Malkin stated, “Immigration activists see the provisions as first steps toward universal coverage for illegals.” Immigration and illegal immigrant assistance are two different ball fields and although once upon a time he said he was on the first field, his recent actions show he‘s actually on the latter. Obama is not a friend of the American; in fact I don’t see him as a friend of anyone but himself and the needs of his party. There is nothing in this plan which in any way assists the nation. If anything it hurts the ones that need the most help, now more than ever. If we don’t somehow cough up this Obama coated pill, we will are in for some expensive aftermaths. Despite political remarks showing more than once that his Healthcare proposal was not going to be approved, President Obama recently took his plan on tour to the people. Taking the stage at Glenside of Pennsylvania, Obama attempted to talk the public into supporting his expensive and destructive proposal. There is only one problem with this scheme: The people have already thrown ObamaCare out. I don’t understand what the thought process could have been to go to the public about something that they wouldn’t consider as even as the slightest possibility for improving their healthcare system. Making obvious comments like we need to pass “healthcare reform” somehow believing we don’t know he’s talking about his own proposal, he states that now is the time to fix this broken system. The public knows healthcare needs work because when the plans and the costs go bad, we are the victims. We are the people holding the bag when things go awry. Sure, when things go really horrid re-elections are sometimes at risk, but the real costly results fall at the public. We are the ones searching for help when we are ill and reading page after page of the healthcare explanations while still paying bills for our care. Further, I am proud to say that the youth of our nation, once Obama’s biggest fans are now seeing ObamaCare as what it really is: A cost-ridden mess. Despite this, Obama still seems to think we will take any reform no matter what the cost. We are dealing with a “we know best” administration that seems to believe just because they had many of us choking down whatever they said in the election that now they won the brainwashing will continue. The bad news about that is many people are waking up: We will not just take anything…we need the real thing! Although the RNC believes that the reason for his visit was placed on the shoulders of Senator Arlen Specter and his already failing re-election campaign, although I am not against the possibility as his re-election is already increasing in risk via polls, I think that we have on our hands a one issue President. That, my friends, is the largest risk we can have at a certain address in D.C. America to Obama: Hands off my Healthcare 03/01/2010
Let me begin this article by stating a fact: When a Bipartisan Summit is proposed, the assumption is that both sides will sit down and EQUALLY discuss an issue. Neither side should, let’s say, post a piece of legislation on the internet or, I don’t know, request the other side to send their own proposal. This event should be an open and blank sheet that has no pre-notations or comments. Despite proposing such an event, President Obama didn’t get the memo on what a “Bipartisan Summit” was and therefore made the exact errors I discussed and more. Before the “Bipartisan Summit” on Healthcare, suggested by President Obama, Minority Leader Senator Mitch McConnell was on FoxNews Sunday questioning why the meeting was occurring when so many Americans were against the pending legislation deemed ObamaCare. Despite NPR polls stating over one half of the nation’s citizens were saying no to the President’s proposal, people are still coughing up the 2700 page document as its being continually shoved down their throats. Believing the conference was to “shelve the bill and start over”, actions such as positing the legislation on the internet, (i.e. placing it in front of a public that already rejected every word of it), McConnell went on to state the realization that the actions the Obama Administration and his legislative following was “arrogance” and I could not agree more. How can an administration that praises itself on being for the people and a creator of change that the people crave be able to say to the same public, “We know more about this so you just sit there and agree”? Today, with the legislation on the table, cries from the public and the minority are screaming for it to be shredded before it hurts someone. Cutting medicare and charging an already fiscally suffering class of people, Americans are screaming until you really do a real “Bipartisan Summit”…HANDS OFF MY HEALTHCARE! President Obama Needs to Stop the Games! 02/24/2010
President Obama knows nothing but games! Here we are awaiting a Bipartisan Summit when action after action is screaming an already pre-set backstepping and games. First, Obama and his cronies place their Obamacare proposal on the internet and asks for the Republicans’ proposal. Isn’t that what the Summit was for? Senator Boehner stated in one of his many responses to the Summit suggestion that the discussion should be started with a “blank” piece of paper, yet even before the ink is dry on the place cards, the Obamacare is now available online?! To walk into an open discussion with a pre-set agenda is one thing..putting it on the internet is disturbing. How can you suggest a level playing field when you already have the game laid out even before the opposing team approaches the field? More importantly, we here in the public sector know what this hypocrisy of a legislation proposal Obamacare is. We really did not in any way need to see it online as we, especially the youth, are already against it. The worst attack against the GOP I believe, while they prepare for this summit, is when he commented that at a National Governors Association event that the Governors have been “Bipartisan” consistently and applaud them for it. I see this as an incredible attack against the Republicans who have openly (and rightly so) been questioning the invitation. |
